Aspirational! Mayor Adhan Approves Proposal for Saturday Shift System for Community Health Center Staff

In the agenda of coaching and directing state civil servants (ASN) and regional activity support staff (TPKD) in the Community Health Center environment throughout Gorontalo City, Sunday (21/9/2025), the Mayor of Gorontalo, Adhan Dambea, not only emphasized the evaluation of nurses' performance, but also responded directly to the aspirations of health workers.One of the aspirations raised by nurses and doctors at the Community Health Center (Puskesmas) was the implementation of a Saturday shift system. This proposal received a positive response from Mayor Adhan.He emphasized that the most important thing is that services to the public remain optimal. "I agree with that proposal. The most important thing is that public service must remain optimal. If implementing Saturday shifts can guarantee that, then it should be implemented immediately," said Mayor Adhan. He also expressed his appreciation for the performance of health workers at the Community Health Center to date. He revealed that since the first month of his tenure as Mayor of Gorontalo, he has never heard any complaints from the public regarding health center services. According to him, this is proof that the health services in Gorontalo City, especially at the Community Health Centers, have tried to maintain the quality of services.Closing his remarks, Mayor Adhan conveyed a firm message to the village heads and all Puskesmas staff to be more sensitive to the community's condition. He reminded that no citizen should escape the government's attention, both in social aspects and health services."There must be no village head who is unaware that some of his residents are unable to eat. And there must be no community health center that fails to serve the community. That is our collective responsibility," he stressed.
