BLUD Document Preparation and Preparation Training Officially Closed

Acting Mayor of Gorontalo, Ismail Madjid officially closed the training on the preparation and preparation of documents for regional public service agencies (BLUD), Wednesday (11/12/2024). In his remarks, Ismail stated that the preparation of strategic plans for Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) for the implementation of BLUD must be carried out by a planning team at the Puskesmas level appointed by the head of the Puskesmas through a decree (SK). He added that, as a technical implementing unit, the Puskesmas strategy must refer to the strategic plan of the Health Office and adapt to the conditions of resources, the environment, community needs and the role of the community in the Puskesmas' work area. "With its various advantages, BLUD is expected to not only be able to improve public health services, but also be able to improve the achievement of regional health indicators and the fulfillment of health SPM," he said. Fulfillment of health SPM includes, he continued, BLUD has flexibility in financial management patterns by implementing healthy business practices to improve services to the community. "The existence of regulations that regulate resources, planning, budget management, spending, financing, BLUD is responsive to improve services to the community without prioritizing profit-seeking," he continued. Ismail targets that all Community Health Centers in Gorontalo City will become Community Health Centers implementing BLUD by 2025, with administrative document scores of more than 60.
