BPJS Health Mobile Services Appreciated by Acting Mayor

The Gorontalo Social Security Administration (BPJS Kesehatan) implemented a mobile BPJS program, as demonstrated at the Gorontalo Mayor's Office on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.A program that carries the concept of "jemput bola" to facilitate participants in obtaining participant administration services related to the health insurance program.Acting Mayor of Gorontalo, Ismail Madjid, who witnessed the program's implementation firsthand, expressed his appreciation for BPJS Kesehatan. He said the program has helped employees at his office."BPJS's proactive approach is extraordinary. It's incredibly helpful for civil servants, especially those whose data may not have been properly adjusted," Ismail told reporters.Ismail hopes that the implementation of this service will improve BPJS Health services."As acting mayor, I am very grateful. I hope this service will improve the quality of BPJS Kesehatan services," he said.Furthermore, regarding social security, Ismail said that Gorontalo City has entered Universal Health Coverage (UHC), which is a health insurance program for all citizens."Thank God, Gorontalo City has now achieved UHC coverage. This means that the majority of city residents are covered by BPJS. Furthermore, those with city ID cards can access free healthcare services, provided they are not yet registered with BPJS. Hopefully, services from the community health center (Puskesmas) to the hospital level will continue to improve," Ismail concluded.
