Civil Servants and Community Health Center (TPKD) must prioritize public interests over personal interests.

The Mayor of Gorontalo, Adhan Dambea, again provided guidance to state civil servants (ASN) and regional activity support staff (TPKD) at the Community Health Center (Puskesmas), Sunday (21/9/2025) evening, in Bandhayo Lo Yiladia (BLY).This time, the training focused on civil servants (ASN) and community health workers (TPKD) from five community health centers (Puskesmas): North City, Sipatana, Central City, West City, and Hulonthalangi. In his address, Mayor Adhan emphasized that Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) are the spearhead of government health services. Therefore, he said, Puskesmas services are the primary benchmark for the public in terms of government services. Therefore, Mayor Adhan asked ASN and TPKD to prioritize public interests over personal interests when carrying out their duties and functions."Put the interests of the public before personal interests. While this may be difficult, it's absolutely essential," Mayor Adhan emphasized.Apart from being an indicator for assessing government services, for Mayor Adhan, health is a matter of principle. "For me, health is a matter of principle. Because if we're not healthy, we can't do anything. Health is priceless," said the two-term mayor.On that occasion, Mayor Adhan also expressed that he was very grateful that during his 7 months as mayor, he had not received any complaints regarding public services. Even so, he reminded them that this must be maintained. In fact, Mayor Adhan said, it must be further improved."I've been mayor for seven months. Thank God, there have been no complaints about the Community Health Center's services. Unlike RSAS and RSUD Otanaha, I've received many complaints from those two hospitals," explained Mayor Adhan.During the training, Mayor Adhan, who was accompanied by the Regional Secretary of Gorontalo City, Ismail Madjid, the Head of the Health Service, Mohammad Kasim, and the Acting Assistant I of the Regional Secretary of Gorontalo City, Iskandar Moerad, also opened the space for discussion.
