The Mayor of Gorontalo, Adhan Dambea, directly inspected a number of facilities at the Gorontalo City Sports Arena Stadium, Friday (8/5/2026), ahead of the visit of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday (9/5/2026).The inspection was conducted to ensure the entire site was ready, from the main stadium area to other supporting facilities.On this occasion, Mayor Adhan also checked the cleanliness of the area, access, area layout, and technical readiness in the field.He hopes that the relevant parties will move quickly to complete all preparations so that the state visit can run smoothly and orderly.In addition, a number of officers were also seen making improvements at several points in the stadium as part of finalizing preparations ahead of the President's arrival.Mayor Adhan emphasized that the readiness of facilities is a crucial concern because the President's visit is a national agenda that brings great attention to Gorontalo City.According to him, coordination between regional agencies and related parties must continue to be strengthened so that the entire series of activities can be carried out properly.The Gorontalo City Government also ensures the comfort and security of the location during the visit agenda.As is known, Merdeka Stadium is the landing place for the helicopter that will carry the President from Djalaluddin Airport.
