Mayor Adhan Receives Appreciation from Vertical Institutions and Banks for Facilitating Program Socialization

The agenda of gathering between residents and the Gorontalo City Government was utilized by a number of vertical institutions and banks to socialize various programs to the community. The activity took place in Leato Selatan Village, Dumbo Raya District, Friday (10/4/2026) evening.In this activity, a number of agencies such as the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), BPJS Kesehatan, BNN Gorontalo City, Directorate General of Customs and Excise, and Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Gorontalo Branch, were given space to introduce and explain their respective work programs to the public.This facilitation received appreciation from various parties, who considered the steps taken by the Mayor of Gorontalo, Adhan Dambea, to be very helpful in disseminating public information.Head of Customs, Ade Zirwan, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity given."Thank you, Mr. Mayor, we have been given the opportunity to explain our duties from Customs," he said.Sri Dewi Monoarfa, Head of the Gorontalo City Statistics Agency (BPS), echoed this sentiment. She assessed that the gathering was highly effective in providing the public with an understanding of the role and responsibilities of BPS.According to him, the institution's involvement in these activities helps increase public literacy regarding the functions of government agencies.Meanwhile, Mayor Adhan Dambea emphasized that the local government has a responsibility to ensure that the public understands the duties and functions of the government, including vertical agencies."It is our responsibility to provide knowledge to the public, particularly regarding the roles and duties of government agencies," he stressed.
