PKK Programs Must Be Relevant to National Strategic Issues

The 2024 National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) of the Family Welfare Movement (PKK) held in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/19/2024) was also attended by the Acting Chairperson of the Gorontalo City PKK, Suharti Madjid Daud. The National Coordination Meeting was opened directly by the Indonesian Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian, accompanied by the General Chairperson of TP PKK who is also the General Chairperson of the Posyandu Advisory Board for the 2024-2029 term, Tri Tito Karnavian. In his directive, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian emphasized the importance of synergy between the Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK) at all levels and the government in realizing priority programs in line with the 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN).On that occasion, the Acting Chairperson of the City PKK TP, Suharti Madjid Daud, expressed his pride in being able to attend and participate in the national coordination meeting with all PKK TPs throughout Indonesia. Suharti stated that PKK programs in the regions must align with national priority programs. Furthermore, she added, the programs implemented must provide significant benefits to the community. "PKK must strengthen its organization and programs that are born and continue must be implemented in line with and in accordance with central government policies, especially so that the results can be felt by the community," said Suharti. The National Coordination Meeting activity, which carried the theme "PKK Strategy in Real Action through Preparation of the 10th PKK National Working Meeting to Support the 2025-2029 RPJMN," was also combined with the inauguration and confirmation of the general chairperson of the PKK TP and the central management of the Posyandu Advisory Team for the 2024-2029 term.
