RSAS in the AIR Era: No Longer in Deficit, Now Awarded

The improvement steps taken by Mayor Adhan Dambea and Deputy Mayor Indra Gobel towards Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Regional Hospital are starting to show results. After undergoing a thorough evaluation, including management restructuring and changing directors, the referral hospital successfully emerged from the deficit zone. Not only that, RSAS has now received an award from BPJS Kesehatan. The award was given for the commitment in implementing the integration of the online queue system, integration of the claims system, and the implementation of E-SEP based on fingerprints and Frista. "Alhamdulillah, we at RSAS received an award for our commitment to integrating a number of systems," said RSAS Director, Abdulhafidz Daud. The self-assessment was conducted on advanced referral health facilities (FKRTL) that were deemed serious about developing a digital-based and integrated service system.Improvements at Aloei Saboe Regional Hospital (RSUD Aloei Saboe) went beyond administrative aspects. Mayor Adhan and Deputy Mayor Indra personally inspected the hospital's condition, inspecting the emergency room, inpatient wards, patient waiting room, bed availability, and supporting facilities such as air conditioning, toilets, environmental cleanliness, and medical equipment deemed inadequate or in need of updating. The evaluation also includes the queuing system at the registration counter and the flow of BPJS patient services to prevent further congestion. This step was taken to ensure that changes were not only visible on paper, but felt directly by the community. The integration of online queues now streamlines the registration process. A claims system directly connected to BPJS Kesehatan (Indonesia's Social Security Agency) expedites the administrative process, while biometric-based E-SEP strengthens the validation of National Health Insurance (JKN) participant data. This achievement also increases the number of awards won by the Gorontalo City Government to 24 awards within one year of Adhan Dambea and Indra Gobel's leadership.
