Stunting Management: TFC's Special Services Begin to Have a Positive Impact

Stunting management in Gorontalo City is being implemented through various approaches. One such approach is the Therapeutic Feeding Center (TFC), a specialized service providing nutritional therapy for children with stunting. According to the Head of the Gorontalo City Health Office, Muhammad Kasim, the presence of TFC has begun to have a positive impact. "Thank God, the children we are treating are showing good results, and their weight has also increased significantly," said Muhammad Kasim during a visit to TFC with the Gorontalo City Development Planning Agency (Bapppeda).He hopes that after undergoing therapy at TFC, the children can return to normal lives, especially in terms of fulfilling their nutritional needs. In addition, Muhammad Kasim also invited regional apparatus organizations (OPD) and other institutions to get involved, both by providing assistance and directly monitoring the development of children undergoing treatment."We certainly hope this will set a good example for other regional government agencies (OPD) and institutions, encouraging more people to become involved in stunting management efforts. God willing, we will continue to do this," he added.On that occasion, Muhammad Kasim also expressed his appreciation to the Gorontalo City Bapppeda for the attention and support provided in efforts to handle stunting and special disorders in children in Gorontalo City."We would like to thank Bappeda for providing assistance to children experiencing stunting and special disabilities," said Muhammad Kasim.This collaborative effort is expected to strengthen the government's efforts to reduce stunting rates in Gorontalo City while improving the quality of life for affected children.
