To commemorate the 54th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia Civil Servant Corps (KORPRI), the Gorontalo City Government will hold a Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur'an (MTQ) competition.This was revealed during the coaching and direction activities for state civil servants (ASN) and regional activity support staff (TPKD) at the Community Health Center (Puskesmas), Sunday (21/9/2025) evening, in Bandhayo Lo Yiladia (BLY)."I will hold an MTQ competition for KORPRI's anniversary," said the Mayor of Gorontalo, Adhan Dambea, while giving instructions at the event.Interestingly, the MTQ competition participants are civil servants. Every regional apparatus organization (OPD), sub-district, community health center (Puskesmas), and village are required to send representatives, said Mayor Adhan."One woman, one man. For the sub-districts, we will start at the district level. God willing," he said.Mayor Adhan also stated that he would prepare the best prize for the participant declared the winner by the jury: a trip to the Umrah pilgrimage."The winner will receive the Umrah as a prize," concluded Mayor Adhan.It's worth noting that the MTQ (Qualifying Religious Competition) is on the KORPRI central agenda next year. This means the Gorontalo City Government is one step ahead in implementing this religious agenda.
