Hundreds of online tax distribution officers crowded Bandhayo Lo Yiladia (BLY) on Wednesday (6/5/2026). Their presence was in the context of the agenda of submitting the list of PBB-P2 tax assessment collections (DHKP) as well as technical guidance (Bimtek) on the distribution of e-SPPT for the 2026 fiscal year. This activity was officially opened by the Deputy Mayor of Gorontalo, Indra Gobel, accompanied by Assistant II, Effendy Rauf, and the Head of the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), Zamronie Agus. A total of 228 online distribution officers also took part as spearheads in supporting the digital-based tax service system. On this occasion, the Gorontalo City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) introduced a new innovation called Go-Tax. This application is an integrated tax service platform independently developed by the Bapenda's internal team. The Head of the Gorontalo City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), Zamronie Agus, explained that Go-Tax is an acronym for Gorontalo Serving, Transparency, Accountability, and Excellence. This application is designed as a one-stop solution for all regional tax services."Go-Tax was developed entirely by the Bapenda IT team. With a standalone system, we have full control to develop features as needed without relying on third parties," said Zamronie. He added that this step also marks a shift from using external applications such as i-Pajak and SmartGo to a more independent system. In its initial phase, Go-Tax focused on managing Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2), specifically through the e-SPPT (electronic SPPT) feature. This feature allows the public to receive tax bills digitally, without having to wait for physical documents to be distributed."With e-SPPT, the distribution process is faster, more efficient, and minimizes the risk of delays or lost documents," he explained.Going forward, Bapenda aims to integrate all types of regional taxes into a single application. This way, the public can simply access a single platform to fulfill all their tax obligations. This digital transformation is considered a strategic step by the regional government, not only to optimize local revenue (PAD), but also to provide more transparent, effective, and modern public services.
