Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) Temporarily Closes Sky Billiards After Alcoholic Beverages Were Found

The Gorontalo City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) moved quickly to follow up on reports of alcoholic beverages (Miras) at Sky Billiards.The findings were reported by a local online media outlet."We immediately went to Sky Billiards after receiving a report of the discovery of liquor," said the Head of the Gorontalo City Satpol PP, Marwan Saleh, along with his staff who immediately went to Sky Billiards, Tuesday (5/5/2026).Marwan said that when they arrived at the location, his team immediately invited the owner of Sky Billiards for questioning. "According to the owner, a customer asked for liquor. He also said that not long after, officers arrived to conduct a raid," said Marwan.However, Satpol PP still took firm steps by temporarily closing Sky Billiards. Marwan said that the decision was in accordance with the instructions of the Mayor of Gorontalo, Adhan Dambea, who did not approve of the presence of alcoholic beverages in entertainment venues in Gorontalo City."We will also call the owner today," explained Marwan.Sky Billiards had previously received a closure sanction from the Gorontalo City Government. It was also reported that the National Unity and Politics Agency (Kesbangpol) had not yet issued a recommendation following the closure.
