The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) again conducted the 2026 Education Integrity Assessment Survey (SPI) in Gorontalo City. The activities, which took place from April to July, focused on strengthening the values of honesty, character, and governance within the education ecosystem.KPK Education Network Representative, Fathur Rahman, explained that the survey not only assesses academic achievement, but also captures the overall state of education, from character to the supporting environment."We want to see what education looks like in terms of integrity, governance, and its ecosystem," said Fathur Rahman while in the Gorontalo Mayor's office, Wednesday (April 15, 2026).The 2026 Education SPI was designed with a comprehensive approach involving various stakeholders, including students, teachers, principals, and parents as respondents. This approach is considered crucial because integrity is not formed individually but is influenced by the surrounding environment. The survey will be conducted digitally. Respondents will receive a questionnaire link via WhatsApp message or official email."We are currently still in the population data collection stage," explained the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK).The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) also urged the public to actively participate if they receive the survey link. Public participation is considered key to driving improvements in education quality. The results of the Education SPI will later be summarized in the form of an Education Integrity Index that describes conditions in each region, including Gorontalo City. This data is expected to be used as evaluation material for local governments and educational units.Through this survey, the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) is encouraging the realization of an education system that is not only academically superior, but also based on integrity values, in order to produce a generation with strong character and high integrity.
